Why Connect Your Channels?

Connecting your channels is the single most important thing you can do to protect your content. It allowlists your channels on each platform's audio fingerprinting system, so claims are automatically cleared when they come in.

How to Connect a Channel

  1. Go to slipstreammusic.com and log in

  2. Click your avatar and go to Profile

  3. Click the My Channels tab

  4. Click Add new channel

  5. Choose your platform from the list

  6. Complete the authentication for that platform

Once connected, your channel will appear in the My Channels tab. Repeat for each channel you want to protect.

πŸ“Œ Note: Some platforms require you to link Slipstream directly via OAuth. Others just need your channel URL. Follow the prompts for each platform.

Adding a Client's Channel

Creator and Enterprise plan subscribers can add client channels under their account. Follow the same steps above β€” you may need temporary access to the client's platform account to authenticate.

Troubleshooting

If your channel isn't showing up in the dropdown:

  • Make sure you're logged in with the correct account that owns or manages the channel

  • For YouTube Brand Accounts, try the primary Google account that manages it

  • Check that pop-up blockers aren't preventing the auth window from opening

Still having trouble? Email support@slipstreammusic.com with your account email and the channel URL.
