Using Slipstream on YouTube

How to protect your YouTube content with Slipstream and resolve YouTube copyright claims.

Written by Dan Demole

How YouTube Protection Works

When you authenticate your YouTube channel in Slipstream, it's automatically added to our Content ID allowlist. This means any Slipstream tracks you use in your videos will be cleared automatically.

Setup (One-Time)

  1. Log in and go to Profile → My Channels

  2. Click Add new channel → YouTube

  3. Authenticate with your Google account

That's it — all your past and future videos using Slipstream music are now covered.

If You Get a Claim

Provide the following when contacting us:

  • Link to the claimed video

  • The Slipstream track name and artist

  • Name of the claimant / entity that issued the claim

If Orfium is the claimant (they manage Slipstream's Content ID), our team can release it directly from our system — usually within 24 hours.

For third-party claims, we'll reach out to the claimant on your behalf and work to get it resolved.
